Don’t be surprised.
In his comment in my last post, Amith said that P.C. Thomas is mellowing down. I said the same thing to my father. My dad said P.C. Thomas is like Maggie.
According to my father (and now according me also), when you start an institution, you work hard to set up its standard. After you have set up a standard, you have to maintain it. That is the reason why you become strict. And that is why P.C. Thomas was very strict. When you maintain your standard, you become a brand. And, after you are a brand, you know that even if you sell crap, people will happily buy it. (Well, P.C. Thomas does not sell crap)
Long time before, there was only Maggie as a two-minute noodles. Then there came something new called Top Ramen. In their first ad, they had the catch line “Thank God there is an alternative” . In the same way, there are many other institutions coming up, which are as good as PC. So, many students are changing from PC also. Thus, unlike before, there is an alternative to PC just like there is an alternative to Maggie.
And, according to me, Top Ramen tastes better than Maggie, so may be, other institutions are also better than PC!
Hah! My dad is so very intelligent and smart! Thank god he didn’t use the Nirma washing powder ad as his example this time! (Nirma ad is his best ad and he can give its example for everything)
Anyways, after joining my coaching class, they gave me some books. Along with that, I also got a hundred recycled long papers. Why? To write imposition if I am absent even in one class! The man told me to come and take the papers from him when they get over. Does that man think I am going to write impositions very frequently huh? X-|
I think I am getting a good taste of PC’s strictness!
Anyways, my classes begin on 17th. I might make a
Oh, by the way, even the reader has all the reasons to get jealous of me. One of the best bloggers has written something about me. Check it our here. I expect some “So true Arunima, Ramya is really wonderful” type comments in Arunima’s blog too from my readers. :-P. Well, thank you so much Arunima! I have been reading her blog since two years now and it was after reading her blog that I even thought of blogging.
P.S. - I am sorry if you don't see any reply to your comments on my blog. I am busy and lazy.

P.C Thomas being compared to Maggie! Hahahah... I sure hope he's not into googling his name or anything ;) He might just stumble across your blog and make you write impositions! :D
Nice take on that hell of a guy. I had a hard time getting out from his classes in 6 months after I had joined for the 2 years coaching. I could never convince ma folks.
But after 6 months of sleeping and "outstanding performance", I knew I had enough. And I jumped out!!!
A year back, that guy came and sat next to me in the saloon with his grandson. I had a hard time keeping my hands off the scissors and giving him a dress-down. ;-)

Hey, good one again, nice sense of humor, Even i loved top ramen wen it first came out and i did show some discrimination over Maggie, but then it made me laugh to the ground reading ur comparison of maggie with an established institution, very funny!!
